Just discovered a great Austin-based music blog: Foulpeony

I decided to poke around WordPress a little bit and ran across Foulpeony, a neat music blog by an Austinite who like me, cares deeply about music and musicians. It’s a newish blog, just started in June, but it’s off to a hell of a start. I have high hopes for it. Just put a link on my blogroll. There’s some really thoughtful material. I was especially impressed by this post about music snobbery: What is wrong with you? Your taste in music I mean. They (not sure if it’s a he or she at this point) have also combed through Bandcamp  and come up with some good band recommendations. Check it out and give a little encouragement. I want them to keep it up..

The header states: “No reviews, no ratings, no pretense to discussing music.” I like that attitude.
